We had some very good news in at ARK HQ last week. ARK has been nominated in the 2014 Digital Humanities Awards.
The DH awards are intended to raise awareness of DH projects and celebrate successes in the field. This is taken from their website:
Digital Humanities Awards are a set of entirely open annual awards run as a DH awareness raising activity. The awards are nominated and voted for entirely by the public. These awards are intended to help put interesting DH resources in the spotlight and engage DH users (and general public) in the work of the community.
ARK is in the category of Best DH Tool or Suite of Tools – and the voting is open to anyone.
Please take a couple of minutes to visit the voting page and give us a vote (under The Archaeological Recording Kit – in Best DH Tools section). Also, while you are there, why not take some time to look at the other great DH projects that have been nominated in the other categories.
