Vocabulary
ARK1 supported Controlled Lists of Attributes. In ARK2 we support other types of Controlled Vocabularies including Taxonomies and Thesauri, in compliance with ANSI/NISO standard Z39.19-2005 'Guidelines for the Construction, Format, and Management of Monolingual Controlled Vocabularies'.

In ARK1, the translations of a Vocabulary were called Aliases. In ARK2, the Symfony Translation component is used for both Aliases and Markup, but are defined as separate Domains. While the back-end view of a translation is the same, the UX may have to differ due to the need to tie the translation to the vocabulary term.
