It is important when entering fields in the field_settings.php to make sure the associated aliases are also entered in the cor_tbl_alias. To do this, use the 'Alias' navigation tab.

Enter the following:

  • Select Class - Select the data class from a list
  • Select Type - Select the class type from a list. Classtypes must be entered into the database manually. See field_settings.php for information on entering classtypes using PHPMyAdmin.

When both of the above have been selected, you can enter the alias information. You are also able to delete old alias entries, or add additional language aliases for the selected classtype.
