This wiki is the documentation project for ARK the archaeological recording kit. The documentation falls into 3 categories:
- User Manual - Notes for end users of the system
- Administrator Manual - Notes for setup and administration of ARK
- Developer Manual - Documentation of the ARK engine
For a quickstart installation after downloading the demo ARK, go straight to Basic Installation.
Users of the system are encouraged to join the arkusers Group.
Developers of the system are encouraged to join the arkdev Group.
We also have an ARK Glossary to try to explain some key terms and the way they are used in ARK.
We are currently developing a set of QGIS plugins to work with ARK.
